We would like to inform you about this current firmware bug.
Affected systems are:
- C14000 series
- C7100 series
- C4080 series
Problem
C-6A15 or C-6A55 occurs when power on after version up to the following version.
(C-6A15 and C-6A55 are not described in service manual)
If the C-6A15 or C-6A55 occurs, it is not necessary to replace any part.
By downgrade to the previous FW ver., the machine can be used.
- C14000 series: G00-80
- C7100 series: G00-60
- C4080 series: G00-80
Workaround
Downgrade all of FW including the engine and option to the version which was installed before version up.
If you downgrade only Q3-ROM, C-6C02 will occur, so all of FW must be downgraded together.
- C14000 series: Special FW based on G00-70
- C7100 series: Special FW based on G00-51/52
- C4080 series: Special FW based on G00-70/71
Solution
Fixed FW will be released in end of February 2026. (Q3-ROM)
